Even though your conscious mind may not be aware of what started your fear or negative behavior, your subconscious mind has that memory stored away. The subconscious mind is the storehouse of everything you have ever experienced, seen, done, heard, read, etc.
In a relaxed but aware state, you will be able to go back to that memory, safely and without reliving the trauma that may have accompanied it. Being able to see the beginning of the behavior or fear, you are then able to release and have positive affirmations to replace it; or accept that past memory and be able to tell yourself that it no longer has a hold on you. As they say, knowledge is power; so you are able to gain that power back over your life.

Most fears and phobias that have no reason to exist, or can’t be traced to an incident in someone’s current life, are usually the result of a past-life experience.
